Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 28 April 2026
Decide Your Money (ABN 44 692 416 783, registered in Australia) is committed to making its website and digital products usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. This statement describes our current approach, the standard we are working towards, and how to report issues.
1. Our Commitment
We aim to make decideyourmoney.com and its digital products (including The 10-Second Money Method PDF and any related downloadable content) perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users, regardless of ability or assistive technology.
2. Standard We Are Working Towards
We aspire to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard recognised by the European Accessibility Act, the UK Equality Act 2010, the Australian Disability Discrimination Act 1992, and many other accessibility frameworks worldwide.
Decide Your Money has not yet been independently audited against WCAG 2.1 AA. Our internal reviews focus on color contrast, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, focus indicators, and alternative text for meaningful images. We continue to improve our compliance over time.
3. Measures We Take
- Use of semantic HTML elements (headings, lists, landmarks) so assistive technology can navigate the page structure.
- Color combinations chosen with WCAG AA contrast ratios in mind for body text and primary calls to action.
- Keyboard navigation supported for forms, links, buttons, and other interactive elements.
- Form fields with descriptive labels and error states.
- Images and icons that convey meaning have alternative text or aria labels.
- Downloadable PDFs (lead magnet and method guide) use a logical reading order and tagged structure where feasible.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, you may encounter areas where our content does not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Common limitations include:
- Some hero images and decorative SVGs may lack descriptive alternative text where the content is purely decorative.
- Third-party embeds (such as the payment provider checkout) follow the accessibility standards of their respective vendors and may not match our internal targets.
- PDFs may not be fully tagged for screen reader navigation in all sections.
We welcome feedback on any barrier you encounter and address reported issues as a priority.
5. Reporting Accessibility Issues
If you experience a barrier accessing content on Decide Your Money, please tell us through our contact form. Include the page or document you were trying to use, what you were trying to do, the assistive technology you were using (if any), and any error messages you saw. We aim to respond within 5 business days and to remediate confirmed issues as quickly as practicable.
6. Alternative Formats
If you need any of our digital products (including The 10-Second Money Method) in an alternative format such as a different file type, large print, or plain text, please contact us through our contact form and we will provide a suitable alternative at no additional cost.
7. Enforcement Procedure
Australian users may also raise concerns about accessibility under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 with the Australian Human Rights Commission at humanrights.gov.au. EU users may contact the relevant national accessibility enforcement body in their member state. UK users may contact the Equality and Human Rights Commission at equalityhumanrights.com.
8. Updates to This Statement
We will update this statement as our accessibility work progresses or as relevant standards evolve. Material updates will be reflected by changing the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
